Colon Hydrotherapy (Colonics)
A True Pathway to More Vibrant Health
Do you go to the dentist twice a year? Do you shower daily? We need to cleanse our colons for the same reasons. A clean colon helps the body function at its best. We should have 3 bowel movements a day if we eat 3 meals…who realistically does that?
Think of how many times a baby goes to the bathroom throughout any given day…..A lot! Therefore most people are constipated. So the feces “lying around” the colon are getting petrified thus producing toxins and poisons which get reabsorbed into the bloodstream. These toxins and poisons wreak havoc with our health!
Colonics can help the following health problems listed below:
Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Chronic Sinus Infections
Fibromyalgia
Constipation
Candida Related Complex
Food Intolerances
Bloating and Gas
Depression
Detoxification for alcoholics and drug addicts
Poor complexion
Halitosis
Tiredness
How many sessions will I need?
That is dependent on your goals. The number of treatments needed differs from individual to individual. The majority of clients feel relief in 1-3 sessions, although it may take a number of sessions to completely alleviate toxicity. We highly recommend first time clients to have 3 colonics. However, the certified colon hydrotherapist will personalize your own treatment plan.
What can I expect from a Colonic Treatment?
During the treatment, you will be in a private room with only your colon therapist; your modesty is preserved at all times. After the gentle insertion of a small sterile tube into the rectum, you are completely covered. Rubber tubing carries clean, filtered water in and waste out in an antigravity pressured system. After the filling and emptying process is completed you will go into the restroom where you will sit for 5-10 minutes. The treatment will last between 45-60 minutes.
What can I expect afterwards?
You may experience some minor nausea or fatigue, due to the release of toxins. If any discomfort occurs, it is recommended to rest and apply a warm heating pad to the abdomen. (A mild vegetable broth and peppermint tea are recommended after a session to soothe your digestive tract.) Most likely you’ll feel great. Probably you will feel lighter and enjoy a sense of well-being. As soon as the colonic is finished you can carry on with your daily routine. It is recommended that you drink plenty of water and eat a light healthy meal.
